It's almost 2012. Do you have anything in store for New Year?

It looks to be just another day in Paradise for me.

Not really. Perhaps try to coerce my kid into letting me watch the rest of Dexter 6th season on his flat screen. Going to pretty quiet here this year.

Here we are into day 2 of the new year and it feels just like 2011. Imagine that. As a friend of mine states every year on his FB post: A new year to continue fucked up habits. (paraphrased) But it's true, it's what people do. "Let me make a list of overwhelming changes I want to accomplish, so that by the 3rd week into January, I can scream in frustration because I can't get them done, or started." Changes can be started at any time you ass hats. So why wait for a New Year? *just me venting a bit* Lisa, I'm lovin' the tiny font. So fun.

I don't understand why people think that the change in date means everything in their lives will change (for the better). Same shit, different day.. or date in this case.

People aren't strong enough to accept what is so they dream of change. It pisses me off. Its like ummm no nothing changed and no one should expect it to.

Ahhh, there's nothing wrong with dreams. So long as people can continue to face reality during their waking hours, that is. ;)
