It's Sunday here, cold but sunny. Slept late (still recovering from the cold thingy I had over the holidays), then took a load of stuff to the recycling center, hit the local pizza joint and got a couple slices to go, then stopped by the office to check my email. Not a bad day.

Tuesday afternoon now. Woke up with a backache - must have slept wrong. On a scale of 1-10, I'd rate today as a 5. Not bad, not super-good, just ... being.

Feeling ropey today. Kids driving me mental, I'm full of cold and the two youngest won't stop being annoying! Roll on bedtime.

C'mon, it's another day in Paradise, isn't it?

Well, when I think about this alleged 5" of snow heading this way, the day is a major PITA.

Awesome day.. just awesome :D Didn't think it was going to be, mind you. Had visits from Rykneld homes this morning (association who owns our house) for their 6-month inspection. Went well, set up Direct Debit for rent - been trying to do that for months without success, all sorted now. Mooched around, felt crap because of this cold and forget to bring the post in.

Gary brought the post up when he came in from work - there was lots of junk and a letter confirming that my application to get the girls out of the school they're in has been accepted *does a happy dance* I requested that the sour faced bitch of a head wasn't informed of my application to move them so I really can't wait for the pleasure of telling her she can stuff her school up her arse (excuse the language)... think I'll even go out of my way to make the announcement in person. :D

Ringing the new school in the morning to arrange a visit and hopefully the girls will start on Monday!

I hope you pick up a new assignment soon, Richard. Being without employment is not fun.
