    Unless you're living under a rock, you'll be aware that 21st December 2012 is getting some serious attention. This is due to the fact that the Mayan Calendar comes to an end and this has churned up all sorts of theories and fears.

    There's an interesting article, posted a number of years ago, on Universe Today, which talks about the various theories and ideas behind this date and, if you're interested, it's well worth a read.
