These are a rare form of clouds that look like discs or lenses, according to some articles they have been the subject of many UFO claims, as they do look like UFOs.

Here is in an example of a lenticular cloud courtesy of Coconino National Forest:

They're rather funky. I don't think I'd go so far as to say they could be mistaken for a UFO, since they really look like a circular shaped cloud but they are interesting.

Cloud formations can be fascinating anyway, some of the shapes you can see.

If I were ever to move away from here, Flagstaff would be one of my choices. What a beautiful place.

I don't live too far from the little town of Trout Lake in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State. Trout Lake is renowned as a UFO hotspot. I often see lenticular clouds like this hanging (lurking? :D) around the tops of mountains here - aren't they supposed to be like "cloaking devices" for spaceships?

If they weren't before, they definitely are now! :D
