Most of us take words for granted, but how many times have you been talking to someone from a different country and used a word which stops them in their tracks because they don't know what it means?

So.. just for shits and giggles, this thread is to share words that may not be used in other countries, with explanations for our foreign friends :D

Let's start with one I used today (hehehe @ Helena)

Yoinked - to be used when something is taken from somebody else. For example:- I yoinked that from Helena.

*laughing* So if I'm from here, and this is where the page is for me (tee hee hee), would that not make you the foreign friend? hahahaha I can't say as we have any words in our over burdened & confusing language that you lot probably don't already know. ;) But let me know...
